There really are Dinosaurs in my Garden.

I know this is going to sound a little crazy, but Dinosaurs are not extinct - they've just changed quite a bit over the past 65 million years.

One of the things I have always been interested in is the intangible information that it is hard to determine from the fossil record - how did extinct creatures actually behave. This Field Notes blog attempts to answer some of those questions by comparing Dinosaurs to their living descendants... Birds.

I have collected photos over the past few years of many of the animals that live in or pass by my home. I hadn't really thought much about what to do with them, but this seems the perfect opportunity to see what they might be able to tell us.

A description of the locality can be found on the My Garden tab, while profiles of the species are on The Dinosaurs tab. Observations will mostly be found on this page.
