The Dinosaurs

So who are the Avian Dinosaurs we are looking at in this study?

They range in size from tiny (smaller than any dinosaur found as a fossil so far) to quite large - although the larger species are only visitors to the Garden, but are often seen around the rest of the property. These photos have all been taken by me at various stages, some with my iPhone and the rest with a real camera - thus the quality is varied for which I apologise.

There are many other species which I hope to add, and better photos to be taken... until then or for more information I recommend Canberra Birds - Canberra Ornithologists Group

I suppose one should pick a target species to put everything into perspective - how the interaction works with other inhabitants and also what special habits these animals exhibit.

The Blue Wrens are such an amusing species to observe that I had to choose them. I know lots of studies have been done on these, but I want to look at them as an analogue for the smallest of dinosaurs.
